For the moment we can only accommodate archers who already have their own equipment; if you are new to archery and would like more information, then please contact us at the shop and we will gladly advise on how to proceed.
If you are not already a member of the EFAA, then the first thing you will need to do if join. You can join as an independent, cost for a year is just £20.

Once you have your membership card, you can join us at one of our events, at a cost of just £10 each.
EFAA membership will also open up the opportunity to shoot all year round at many other EFAA events and clubs, so you really can make a lot of your £20 membership.
Those with their own equipment are most likely to be involved in target archery and maybe like the idea of trying field archery but don’t know where to go or how the rules work etc.
Good news is it is much simpler than you think, firstly there will be no need to purchase any special equipment. What you already own will work perfectly well and as distances are all marked, there is less of a chance of losing arrows due to not knowing the distance. Think of it as target archery, just in a wonderful woodland setting 🙂
This means you don’t need to make any changes, the kit you already own for target archery is perfect as is, simply get your sight marks sorted using programs such as archers advantage or like myself, set a target out at 80 yards, and then work out your marks for the distances needed – (11 yds up to 80 yds) and it is as simple as that!
